Claire Reyneke founded Bay Recruitment Ltd in 2009 with the aim of combining outstanding recruitment services with highly personal customer service - both of which she feels passionately about. Since 2013 Bay Recruitment has expanded its services to include Patient Recruitment for Clinical Research Sites.


Claire has been involved in a wide variety of industries throughout her career, both internationally and in NZ. Working in recruitment (and more recently, patient recruitment), Claire immediately knew she had found her niche, and a career she loved. So, in 2009 Claire started her own recruitment consultancy firm - Bay Recruitment Ltd - named after the company's location in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland. With Claire's experience working as a Patient Recruitment Specialist for one of New Zealand's largest clinical research sites, it was a natural progression for Bay Recruitment to expand its service offering to include Patient Recruitment for clinical research sites.



An eye for talent

Claire's clients  frequently comment on her natural eye for talent. Her experience across a variety of industry sectors, both in NZ and abroad, has given Claire a remarkable ability to quickly identify whether a candidate is right for a role or not and/or to quickly ascertain whether a patient respondent matches the inclusion/exclusion criteria for a clinical trial. This intuition is a skill that Claire's clients come back to her for again and again, because they know Claire will always source personnel who meet their needs, at any level of their organisation and she will do her best to source more patients to match the requirement of a clinical trial protocol.

Co-ordinating and managing every aspect of the (patient) recruitment process is something that takes great organisational and time management skills, so it's a good thing Claire has both. She also has strong analytical skills, and is highly attentive to detail, so you can be sure every placement and/or clinical research consultation Claire organises will go smoothly.
